So many of you have asked me how to design a web page. It's really not as hard as you would think! Here, I have links to everything you will need and could ever want to design your own web pages. ACRONYMS
To better understand what the language is that is used in computer speak, here are some examples of commonly used acronyms.
Acronyms are abbreviations that stand for words or phrases.

URL: Uniform Resource Locator (An example: http://www.angelfire.com)

MICROSOFT PICTURE IT! This is the best image manipulation program I've ever used. It's easy and does an excellent job. My favorite thing about it is the little dropper feature. You click the dropper on a place in the picture that you know is supposed to be white and it automatically adjust the color perfectly every time. This program is for scanning images and manipulating scans, downloaded or other images that you already have on your computer. It costs around $50 and well worth it!

MICROSOFT FRONTPAGE 98 is the program that I am currently using for web design. It is a wonderful program that gives professional results. I highly recommend getting the book FRONTPAGE 98 FOR DUMMIES by Asha Dornfest. This program has a lot of bells and whistles so a little extra help certainly can't hurt! Please note that most free web sites do not support this program so uploading is not possible. Before you go out and make this purchase, just make sure that your web site server will support it.

PAINT SHOP PRO is the program I use for all the free-hand stuff I do and also for designing my logos and doing all that fancy text. This program can be downloaded here: Paint Shop Pro Download
This is the 30-day shareware trial version.

A RICOH DIGITAL CAMERA RDC-300 is the camera I use for all of my digital images. I rarely use my scanner anymore because the camera is so much easier!
